Crash Meeting: October 26

For the third meeting of Crash Church Vale do Paraíba we were all back to Serpente de Metal's home in Caçapava. The church's music band played for the second time: Sidney Ramos and Fernanda Reis at the guitars and Emerson Olaf singing, there was no bass and no drums.

Bruno Alves dos Santos was chosen for the preaching and he preached about John preparing the way for Jesus being the model for all of us wherever we go, always preparing the way for the Lord. Pastor Miro Cristo coordinated the service and served the Holy Communion.

This day also counted with a guest João Vicente, pastor Miro's longtime friend who lives in London and was visiting Brazil for a while. João had an opportunity for a greeting and, adding to Bruno's preaching, also highlighted the importance of being a representative of Christ and sharing his salvation with those who need it.

Crash Meeting: September 29

The second meeting happened in São José dos Campos, on September 29, at 10:00AM. A young couple opened their ranch house so the gathering could happen. Besides living there he operates a car headlights' recovery called Transformers.

We were received with a very nice breakfast and Pastor Miro preached about being alive and awake for then avoiding taking Communion unworthy.

Crash Church in Vale do Paraíba Paulista (São Paulo)

 

Crash Church (former Comunidade Zadoque whose leader came from the Christian Metal Force of the church Ranascer) is nowadays one of the most concise and stable underground ministry due to its years of experience in the field of Christianity in a context of headbangers, goths, punks, skinheads and all kinds of underground groups. Crash is now present in different parts of Brazil, but initially it was formed in São Paulo city and it was (and still is) led by Antonio Carlos Batista do Nascimento, known informally as Pastor Batista or even Batista Antidemon, Antidemon being his death/grind band formed in 1994, a band with a self-explanatory name.

And by his blessing Crash Church in Vale do Paraíba Paulista was formed, under the leadership of pastor Miro Cristo.
The region of Vale do Paraíba includes towns as São José dos Campos, Caçapava, Taubaté, Pindamonhangaba, Lorena, Guaratinguetá, Cruzeiro, Aparecida and there were many concerts in the past with Christian bands (specially 90's and 00's), some of them organised by the CMF (Christian Metal Force) and registered in this blog, but lately there has been no presence of any underground ministry or leader in the region, so the coming of the Crash Church has been very well accepted.

The members met for the first time in the events area of Serpente de Metal, a Christian motorcycle club, led by Ricardo Cobra.
The gathering happened on a Sunday, the 31st of August at 10AM.

 The moment of worship was conduced by the Serpente de Metal's band called Oxy's (Ricardo Zacarelli, Rick Jesus, Priscila Liliane) with the guest drummer Sidney Ramos (former Faces of Death). Pastor Miro preached, served communion and even distributed some Metal Bibles urging the participants to give those Bibles to people of their circle of friends as a way of sharing the gospel.

 It's worth mentioning that pastor Miro Cristo and Robson Ramalho actually led the project to have a version in Portuguese of the Metal Bible, which they achieved in 2020.

Bishop Josep Rosselllo visits Brazil and Bolivia - May 2025

 Bishop Josep Rosello has the opportunity to return to Brazil and, before it, spend a few days in Bolívia. It was roughly the month of May (2025) in South America. The new Servant General Designated of NAMS Josep Rosello visits Brazil and Latin America

 

From September 2024 on Bishop Josep Rossello (former pastor of Comunidade Renovo and former Bishop Primus of Igreja Anglicana Reformada do Brasil) becomes the new Servant General Designated for the organization New Anglican Missionary Society (NAMS). Once in charge, Bishop Josep sets a schedule of visits including Brazil, Latin America and Europe to start off in February 2025.
