Passa Quatro - January 2016

Our Specific Page About Passa Quatro

My Commentary: That was the second time I went to Passa Quatro and the first time to spend the night. The ambience is very good, a very calm place where you can walk at the central area, no needing a car. The options of restaurants are good and the place is not dangerous. What got my attention is a program I learned about in which the citizens cooperates with the police in order to make the town a safer places and all the houses which agreed to the program have a sign on their wall possible to see from outside. Although it's a calm place, it's not boring at all if you check places to go and make a good program (as it's possible to see by the pictures below).

Passa Quatro Train Station
This steam locomotive (Trem da Serra de Mantiqueira) takes you to two other train stations, being the final one near a tunnel which was an important site during the Revolution in 1932. During the trip the passengers can watch live folk caipira music in the locomotive.
