My Commentary: July 9th is a sacred day in the State of São Paulo. It's celebrated the day of the
Paulista Revolution which was when São Paulo fought bravely against Brazil, against a dictatorship that tried to stop the progress of São Paulo. São Paulo City usually has the biggest celebration in the State and it's done at
Ibirapuera around the obelisk of São Paulo and there are parades of many military groups, armoury and the presence of veterans and politicians.
